Description
Liverpool John Moores University, in collaboration with a number of Liverpool based companies, are currently developing a new project which is aimed at using augmented reality to enhance the passenger experience on ferries, cruise ships and ports as people travel around the sea and oceans.
The project involves a number of stakeholders from the maritime sector in the UK and Ireland, including people involved in Ferries, Cruises, Ports, Tourism and Destination marketing.
The event will start with a brief overview of Immersive Technologies in the Maritime Sector. It will then be opened up for discussion around the future needs of this new service to help inform its design and development. It should be of interest to people working in the following areas:
