Join Beth from BH Crochet and Crafts in a lovely historic pub for a morning of crochet, chat and (hopefully) sunshine!

You can start, finish or simply continue your own project, or there's the opportunity to join the community project drive; this will be baby blankets, preemie hats and angel clothes for the maternity hospitals in Bournemouth and Poole. Let's see how many we can make this year!

Frequently asked questions

Is the event wheelchair accessible?

The front door is step free, although the old doorframe is raised. The carpark is sloped towards the rear, and disabled parking is found at the front of the pub.

I'm a beginner/refinding crochet, can I come?

Yes! Beth teaches by donation and is very patient. There's always time to teach the basic granny square, and also pattern reading if you've never made it further than granny squares!

I've got arthritis and/or fatigue, I'm not sure if crochet is for me?

If you're hands aren't up to the dextrousness required there's always the loom knitting which is more arthritis and fatigue friendly! Beth teaches this also by donation and it's a great introduction to crochet as you practice wool tension - and a baby hat can be made in the time frame.
