Join Beth at the beautiful Bear of Burton for a monthly needlecrafts community. Bring all those niggling jobs you never prioritise - like that blouse button or darning that jumper. Or create some seaonal joy with hand stitched ornaments and gifts. Whatever you haven't got round to sewing, we hold space for it here.

Begginers, hobbiests, casual sewists and everyone in between welcome. Beth is on hand to skill share and problem solve, or just enjoy the natter while everyone gets on.

Community tickets available. Light mending by donation. Tutoring also by donation.

Frequently asked questions

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

The front entrance is step free and disabled parking is founf opposite the front enterance.

Do I need to bring a sewing kit?

If you have one you're welcome to bring it, but Beth has an extensive collection and will help where she can. Kits are available for seasonal projects if you don't know where to start. Mending by donation, but Beth can also tutor you so you learn that new skill.

Is there a sewing machine available?

Unfortunately not. This is a hand sewing, darning and embroidery club so it's all done by hand.
