Why Aurora Ryefields School?
Aurora Ryefields School is a specialist school in Derby dedicated to providing exceptional education and support for children and young people aged 5-19 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and/or additional social, emotional, and mental health needs.
We cater to a wide range of needs across the ASC spectrum, including students with co-occurring conditions such as sensory processing difficulties and/or additional social, emotional, and mental health needs. Our mission is to empower students to develop skills, confidence, and independence, preparing them for fulfilling lives and active participation in their communities.
If you are interested in finding out more, we are holding an Open Event on Thursday, 11 September 2025 for parents and carers at Aurora Ryefields School, 80 Parker Street, Derby DE1 3HF. You will have the opportunity to meet the Headteacher, ask questions, and take a tour of the school.
Placements are now open for our first intake of students, from Reception to Year 9.
