About this event

Arts • Fine Art

The landscape surrounding Bath was a key location for the development for the Picturesque movement in the late 18th & early 19th century. Join Dr Amy Frost on a journey revealing how Jane Austen and William Beckford explored the ideas in fiction and in reality.

This is the same walk as on 6th September.

Access details - limited parking in the small car park of the Tower (parking available for blue badge holders). Regular buses, including the park and ride bus stop outside. This is a short walk around the grounds of the Tower, over rough grass, a few steps but mainly flat.

Dogs on leads welcome. The walk isn't aimed at children.

Please note, this walk does not include a tour of the interior of the Tower or the museum.

The meeting point is the car park of Beckford's Tower (what3words danger.smiles.hobby)

This walk is part of Bathscape Walking Festival. For further information, call Lucy on 07816 641 745 or email info@bathscape.co.uk
