Kenure is a writer of fiction and creative nonfiction whose work explores gender, identity, media, and culture. Her stories and essays have appeared in anthologies and literary magazines such as Wasafiri, Split Lip Magazine, Isele, The Offing, The Republic, and Brittle Paper. She was shortlisted for the Queen Mary Wasafiri New Writing Prize 2023 and won the Best Gender Essay 2024 in The Republic.On this evening, she will read from her short story “The Housewife” (published in Isele Magazine and featured in Best of Isele Fiction). The story reflects on themes of marriage, identity, and the hidden negotiations within domestic spaces.
