A relaxed and welcoming evening for writers of all genres to connect, chat, share ideas, and unwind together. Whether you're working on a novel, journaling, writing poetry, or just want to meet others in the writing community, you're very welcome.

This Author Meet-Up will be hosted by editor Gary Dalkin of To The Last Word, who brings a wealth of experience in supporting writers and fostering meaningful literary connections.

Do I have to stay for the whole two hours?

Not at all! You’re welcome to leave whenever suits you. The event runs from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, but there’s no pressure to stay the full time.

Do I need to bring anything?

Nope – just yourself! There's no formal structure or writing tasks. It's a social event for chatting, connecting, and enjoying some time with fellow writers.

Is food or drink available?

Yes! Conto Lounge offers a full menu of food and drinks, so feel free to grab something while you’re there. (Please note: food and drink are not included in the ticket price.)

Can I bring a friend who’s not a writer?

Of course! As long as they book a ticket too – everyone is welcome, whether they’re writing, thinking about writing, or just curious.
