Author Talk: Matthew Hall

The hugely successful author and screenwriter Matthew Hall, otherwise known as M. R. Hall, will be discussing his latest novel "A Life To Kill", which focuses on the realities of the war in Afghanistan.
Come and listen to a superb writer discussing how war affects young soldiers and their families. This will be a truly memorable evening, with literature shining a light on themes which resonate through generations.
This talk is part of Southend Borough Council's Veterans Commemoration.

Will I be able to buy a book/have it signed?
Yes. Matthew will be signing books at the end of the talk. Waterstones will be supplying books for sale on the night.
Is there wheelchair access?
Yes. The event will be in the first floor meetings rooms, which are all on one level. There is a lift to this floor near the main Reception.
Do I need to bring my printed ticket to the event?
If you do not have access to a printer, we will accept your ticket on your smartphone. If you are not able to hold your ticket on your phone, please make sure you have ID with you so we can find you on our Guest List.
What is your refund policy?
Ticket sales are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled.
