Author Week - 7th - 11th March
Please make only ONE booking for a maximum of 50 children per school!
Author Week comprises of 10 authors working hard to engage and inspire the primary pupils of Leicester.
From the 7th - 11th of March the Leicester Tigers will play host to the 'Whatever it Takes' team and 10 enthusuastic authors. We will host talks, workshops, games and competitions. Pupils will also have the oportunity to purchase a peice of the authors work (at a discounted rate) and get it signed by the author.
The week sets out to not only raise the raise the profile of the reading culture.
Schools are allocated a maximum of 50 pupil places Please feel free to bring LESS pupils if this better suits your coordination .
Each school is required to provide a ratio of 1 - 8 adults to children.
Transport will be provided (and coordinated) for you by us, with Confidenence Coaches. Each bus holds 50 seats so you may need to organise extra transport if you wish to bring your maximum pupil allowance (50).
What is next....
Once we have recieved your booking we shall send out to you a confirmation pack which includes details of your session, build up work your school might choose to do and risk assesment of the venue etc.
Once you have booked on you DO NOT need to print out 50 tickets.

Whatever It Takes
Whatever it Takes (WiT) is the Leicester city-wide reading initiative dedicated to ensuring every child in Leicester is reading.
WiT has been well established since 2009 and was formed in partnership between Leicester City Schools, Leicester City Council and is Managed by the School Development Support Agency.
