About this event

Join us at the award-winning Loftu Library (RIBA Yorkshire Award 2025) and listen to talks by and about a range of authors who come from and have written about Teesside and North Yorkshire.

There sessions for all ages from small children (Max Wrigley reading Sammy the Seagull), children (Theresa Tomlinson), Young Adult (Ruth Estevez), adult (Peter Souteran on Jane Gardam, Jenna Warren) and strictly adult ( A B Finlayson's Rock Zombie).

Attend one session or stay all day. There is free parking in Coronation Park and on Westfield Terrace. Bring a picnic and eat it in the park at lunchtime (we will find space in the library if it rains).

Libraries need authors and authors need libraries. A day celebrating this important relstionship.
