FREE In-Person ADHD & Autism Training for Professionals Working with Young People

Location: CAAS Youth and Family Centre, Television House, 269 Field End Road, Eastcote, HA4 9XA

As part of the North West London (NWL) Integrated Care System (ICS) initiative to address health inequalities, we are pleased to offer a free, in-person training session for professionals working with young people. This specialist session focuses on Autism and ADHD and is designed to enhance awareness, empathy, and practical understanding through experiential learning and immersive sensory experiences.

What You’ll Learn

  • Understanding Autism & ADHD Deepen your knowledge of both conditions, including the strengths (e.g., hyperfocus, innovation) and challenges (e.g., sensory sensitivity, social communication differences, executive dysfunction).
  • Autism & ADHD Overlap Explore shared traits, such as emotional regulation difficulties, sensory differences, and co-occurring challenges.
  • Sensory Immersion Experience Engage in activities that simulate the sensory and cognitive experiences of neurodivergent individuals to foster empathy and insight.
  • Practical Strategies Learn actionable tools and inclusive approaches you can apply in your daily practice to better support neurodivergent young people.
  • Lived Experience Hear from a young person or adult with Autism or ADHD, sharing firsthand insights on navigating daily life.
