Autistic children can be affected by distressed behaviour and meltdowns. This workshop will look at ways to cope and how to help children to understand and communicate feelings.

The session will be led by Carly Jones, an autism advocate from Berkshire, who has two autistic daughters and was herself diagnosed as autistic as an adult.

The workshop is suitable for school staff, children's social care workers and the voluntary sector.

Thanks to funding from RCVYS (Reading Children's & Voluntary Youth Services) Autism Berkshire is able to offer this workshop to professionals who work with autistic children in the Borough of Reading at a discounted rate of £10 per person.
