Welcome to Autism and Christmas Change

Join Bristol Parent Carers and Hats Darley from Neurodiverse Training online on Monday 1st December at 6:30PM.

The festive season brings joy and excitement, but for autistic individuals, the lead-up to and duration of Christmas can present unique challenges. This session explores how the holiday period impacts autistic children and young people, both at school and at home.

This session will not be recorded.

In this session, we will cover:

  • Sensory changes at Christmas
  • Routine changes, especially in schools!
  • Communication changes (as there are often different social requirements at Christmas on children and parents)
  • Q&As
  • And much more

Places are free, but if you're able to make a small donation to help us continue offering free sessions to as many families as possible, we’d be incredibly grateful.

*Please note, to attend this session for free you must live in Bristol (your bin will be collected by Bristol City Council), or your child must attend a school in the Bristol city area. You must also have a child with Special Educational Needs, but they do not need to have a diagnosis.
