This groundbreaking new book offers essential, practical, and compassionate support for Autistic people navigating pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood. Drawing on lived experience, research, and expert insight, Dr Grant provides guidance designed to empower Autistic parents-to-be and the professionals who support them.
At this special online launch event, Dr Grant will share the story behind the book, highlight its key themes, and discuss why inclusive resources like this are so urgently needed. She is joined by three brilliant Autistic midwives, Diane Fox, Karen Henry, Rebecca Warboys, who wrote "top tips" in each chapter of the book - they will each give a short presentation. There will also be space for questions, conversation, and celebration.
Whether you are Autistic, a parent, a birth professional, or simply interested in inclusive approaches to pregnancy and parenthood, this event is a chance to come together, connect, and mark the publication of an important new resource.
The event will be hosted online via Zoom. A meeting link will be sent to those who register nearer the event date.
