A WORKSHOP DESIGNED FOR FRONTLINE MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS.

“The Empowering Ourselves to be Heard Project”

with guest speaker

Dr Trevor Powell, Consultant Clinical Consultant

This highly commended autism awareness training has been written up as an example of good practice in the updated Department of Health “Think Autism” strategy document.

Training is delivered by professionals who are experienced trainers and facilitators in the field of autism, but more importantly, it is also delivered by people on the autistic spectrum.


Our training will provide:

  • A comprehensive overview of neurodiversity and the variety of ways these “differences” are expressed.
  • The challenges of autism and co-existing mental health conditions.
  • An amazing opportunity to hear the insights from a panel of autistic individuals who share their experiences of mental health
  • Ideas about how to support autistic individuals.
  • Opportunities for you to engage explore and ask questions.

A powerful interactive workshop designed to maximize involvement and participation from both the professional and the autistic individual.


The “Empowering” project also provide tailor made neurodiversity training (ADHD and/or autism) to meet the particular needs of your profession or workplace. Please contact us for more information.
