Autism & Anorexia

Join us online for an informative session looking at strategies and tips for managing anorexia in individuals with autism.

Food and eating can be a huge issue for autistic people with sensory issues and anxiety can lead to a person having a very restricted diet.

We also touch on ADHD, because as autism is related to anoreixia, ADHD often co-occurs with autism.

  • Sensory sensitivities and their role in eating
  • The link between autism, ADHD & anorexia
  • Factors that impact eating for autsitic people with anoreixa
  • What helps at home
  • What helps in treatment settings

Our neurodivergent expert Hats Darley background in community enablement, training and management. Now an expert by experience on the NHS's national training on autism, and the lead on an autistic and ADHD womens group, she's dedacated her adult life to explaining and understanding the needs of autistic & neurodivegrent people.
