Autism Awareness Event for Employers - 15th May 2025

Autism is the most reported special educational need amongst the young people with Special Educational Needs.

That's why Rutland County Council has commissioned the National Autistic Society to run this session to help employers to understand and support young people with autism in the workplace.

What will the session cover?

The content of the course covers:

• Neurodiversity

• What is autism?
• Key areas of difference and adjustments
• Supporting anxiety

This is an in-person session on 15th May 2025, from 09:30-1:00pm. Registration for the event begins at 9am. Please meet at the Rutland County Council entrance.
