Event description

Description

Autism Berkshire is pleased to present the National Autistic Society Family seminar on Managing Anger.

This FREE course is suitable for parents and carers of children and young people with autism spectrum conditions, or whose children are on the waiting list for a Berkshire CAMHS autism assessment.

It looks at distressed behaviour and meltdowns in children with autism, how to cope and how to help children to understand and communicate feelings

The workshop will be delivered by Jo Roberts, our Home Visit worker in Reading and Wokingham.

Companion seminars on Understanding Autism and Sensory Needs will be available at the same venue on Wednesday, September 26, and Wednesday, October 17, respectively. Please book separately for these.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided, however you must bring your own packed lunch. Alternatively, RISC has its own cafe.
