Description

Autism Berkshire is pleased to present the National Autistic Society Family seminar on Meeting Sensory Needs.

This course is suitable for parents and carers of children and young people with autism spectrum conditions, or whose children are on the waiting list for a Berkshire CAMHS autism assessment.

The workshop will be delivered by Sharon Fallows, our Home Visit worker in Maidenhead and Windsor.

It looks at sensory systems and how they work, how autistic people may process sensory information differently and have different sensory experiences, and strategies to help with sensory needs.

There will be companion seminars at the same venue as follows. Please book separately for these:

Understanding Autism on April 24.

Managing Anger on May 22.
