Event description

Description

Welcome to the booking page for the Autism Dialogue Conference 2018.

Autism Dialogue is a participatory practice that aims to improve well-being, deepen understanding and improve cohesion of the autism community, through a specialist dialogue method.

This is a unique opportunity for you to hear first-hand experiences from the organisers, researchers and participants, engage in a Dialogue yourself and contribute to our plans.

The conference will bring together autistic people, autism researchers, practitioners, families and supporters from around the UK. As a group, we will discuss the elementals of dialogue, key areas of priority, research and potential areas of implementation for autism.

Join us for:

  • speeches from Carol Povey (Director Centre for Autism, National Autistic Society), Jane Ball (Founder Professional Dialogue Academy), Jonathan Drury (founder, Autism Dialogue) and Anna Nibbs (Enterprise Advisor, University of Sheffield)
  • oral presentations from participants, researchers and health professionals - full list here.
  • parallel dialogue sessions
  • Q & A panel
  • piano recital
  • network opportunities

Who should attend?

Autistic adults and family members, healthcare professionals, educators and researchers are all welcome.
