This event is not free to attend. The cost is £60 per delegate for all 4 sessions. Delegates must attend all 4 sessions.
(Requires AET ‘Making Sense of Autism’ or ‘Autism awareness’ training to have been completed prior to training).
We are going to deliver this training online using Microsoft Teams and split the training into 4 sessions: 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st March 2021 from 3.30-5pm.
The cost of the training will be £60.00 per person and delegates must attend all 4 sessions.
This training is designed to support all practitioners working directly with pupils on the autism spectrum to develop their practice.
The training will:
• Enable practitioners to develop their knowledge and understanding of good autism practice • Provide guidelines and activities to support practitioners to reflect on and improve their own practice
This session is suitable for practitioners (including teaching assistants, lunchtime staff, and teachers) working with school-age pupils on the autism spectrum in both mainstream and specialist services. The course provides practical knowledge, hands-on tools and techniques for working directly with children on the autism spectrum.
