Description

Please arrive 15 minutes early for registration.

This 90 minute training course held in conjunction with Curwen Primary School is aimed at all staff who would benefit from a better understanding of autism, including lunchtime supervisors, governors, administration, teaching and support staff, as well as other professionals who have contact with school age pupils.

It will support participants to:

  • Know the importance of understanding the individual pupil and their profile of strengths and areas for development
  • Identify the key areas to help pupils on the autism spectrum build positive relationships with staff, peers, families and people in their community
