Our Sunday Socials are casual get togethers for autism families with children of all ages. These are casual events featuring a bring-a-dish buffet and a relaxed, fun performance. This month we've got Gill and Paul from Brave Bold Drama, performing their original story 'My Way or The Highway'.
Sunday Socials provide autism families an opportunity to have fun together in a relaxed and non-judgemental atmosphere, with other people who just 'get it'. It's a great way to meet new people.
We have toys and a LOT of Lego for kids to play with as well!
About 'My Way or The Highway'
This is a story about Alf the highwayman. If he sees a toy he likes, he takes it. Without asking. Without stopping to think about other people’s feelings. Alf likes to say “It’s my way or the highway!” But he’s not happy. Fortunately, Alf soon learns there are better ways to play.
There will be lots of original songs and fun audience interaction after the performance.
Entry is £5 for adults (16 and over) and free for children. This covers our costs for room hire, some food and payment for our guest performers.
Redcatch Community Centre is entirely disabled accessible.
