Join us for some fun, autism-friendly crafts for families at the Oriental Museum on Thursday 16 May 5-7pm when the galleries are generally quieter.

Explore the Oriental Museum galleries, see the magnificent jewellery on display then get creative and make your own pasta jewellery.

Lots of self-led resources will be available including storybooks for a range of ages, toys and a cushion-filled chill out room.

A limited number of sensory bags will be available too, which contain ear defenders,

Suitable for children aged 5 - 11 years. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Places are FREE, but limited, so booking is essential.

Each ticket is for one adult and one child.


If you book a ticket and later find you cannot attend, please email oriental.museum@durham.ac.uk or telephone 0191 334 5691 to cancel your booking so we can make the ticket available for another family.
