About this event
Autistic play is valid play which is crucial for children's development. It allows children to explore the world, use their imagination, and practice new skills. Additionally, play helps children build relationships and develop emotional resilience. By incorporating schema play, we can enhance children's learning and growth in all areas of development.
LEGO® play is a versatile tool that supports the development of play schemas. In this workshop, you will learn how to support and utilise autistic play, gain an understanding of play schemas, and discover LEGO® activities that promote learning and wellbeing for autistic children and young people.
The session will conclude with a Q&A segment and will be recorded for future reference.
Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance and a 36-page resource booklet filled with LEGO® based activities.
