Event Details

If you want or need to know more about working with learners who have Autism or with PDA in an education or other setting, here are two half-day workshops.

Trainer

The trainer for these two programmes is Laura Kerbey, an autism champion, who has worked extensively with children and young people with high functioning autism, Asperger’s syndrome and PDA, in both mainstream and SEN learning environments.

Whether in a teaching or supporting role, people attending this workshop will be able to leave the training with knowledge in the following areas:

Six Simple Steps:

Step 2        Communicate effectively with students who have autism

Step 3        Overcome sensory difficulties

Step 4        Remove barriers to learning

Step 5        Create an autism friendly environment
