The Department of Health and Social Care is holding two public meetings to provide an update on the progress of the ASC strategy:

🔹Tuesday 23 September, 1-2pm, Centre 21 Greenfield Road, Douglas

🔹Wednesday 1 October, 7-8pm, Keyll Darree, Nobles Hospital

**Please note, although the event page states 'location tbd', locations of both events are confirmed as the above**

DHSC staff will provide details of the progress made so far along with an outline of the annual report that will be discussed in Tynwald in October.

The meetings will provide an opportunity for members of the public to give feedback and ask questions about the strategy, and information will be provided about the plans for the next 12 months of the strategy work.

Agenda:

🔹Verbal welcome to the meeting and sharing of housekeeping information

🔹Introduction to the DHSC’s ASC Strategy team

🔹PowerPoint presentation about the progress made so far and the plans for the next year

🔹Answers to questions emailed in before the meeting

🔹Opportunity to ask the team questions

Questions can be emailed to the strategy team before the meeting if you do not wish to ask them at the public meeting.

Printed copies of the agenda and the ASC Strategy Annual Report will be handed out at the meeting.

Meeting at Centre 21 – Tuesday 23rd September 1-2pm

What to Expect on the Day

🔹When you arrive at the venue, you’ll need to go through the main entrance doors. Turn right and follow the short corridor along until you reach the meeting room doors. There will be signage directing attendees to the meeting room.

🔹Printed agendas will be provided on the day along with copies of the ASC Strategy Annual Report.

🔹There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the meeting

🔹There is ample parking at Centre 21

Meeting at Keyll Darree – Wednesday 1st October 7-8pm

What to Expect on the Day

🔹When you arrive at the venue, you’ll need to go through the main entrance doors. Turn left and go along the corridor. Go through the doors and turn left again. The lecture theatre entrance will be in front of you. There will be signage directing attendees to the lecture theatre.

🔹Printed agendas will be provided on the day along with copies of the ASC Strategy Annual Report.

🔹There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the meeting

🔹There are a small number of parking spaces at Keyll Darree. Additional parking can be found in the hospital car park or in the hospital overflow carpark, which is on the right when driving along the main entrance road towards Nobles Hospital.
