About this event

Congratulations on your offer to study at the University of Westminster for the 2025/2026 academic year.

Each September, we run a welcome event for autistic students. It’s optional, and you’re warmly invited to come along.

This event will be held at our Cavendish Campus in Lecture Theatre C1.52. There'll be a member of staff at the entrance to the building to help you find your way.

It starts at 10am and ends at 2pm.

What You’ll Learn at the Event:

· How to contact key people who can help with your studies

· What support is available to you

· How to apply for Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA)

· Ways to find out about social events

· A guided tour of the campus and library

Bringing guests

Two family members or guardians are welcome to come with you. Please fill out their names and their relationship to you when you get your ticket on this page.

Lunch and refreshments

You'll also be able to tell us about any dietary and accessibility preferences and/or requirements you have for the day. Please do let us know if you have an allergy. A free lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Quiet Room

There'll be a quiet room at the event separate to the main room for anyone to use at any time. There'll be a member of staff present if you need any assistance. Everyone is welcome there to take a breather for any reason.

We're also holding the same event at our Harrow Campus on Friday 12th September.

If you have any questions, please get in touch with Westminster's Disability Learning Support Team at dls@westminster.ac.uk.
