Autistic and Awesome: Autistic People of the Public Sector
Date and time
Description
It's World Autism Awareness Week, and it's time to change the narrative around autism.
Awareness raising usually focuses on what autistic people find difficult. That's useful but it's not the only story.
So come and listen to autistic speakers from across the Public Sector talk about what they're interested in, and what they're great at, with an introduction by Rupert McNeil, Civil Service Chief People Officer.
The event is open to anyone working in the public sector, whether central government, local government, education, the NHS, or any other publicly funded body.
Attendees will be collected from reception.
