Automata Workshop: Birds in Flight

Come and dip your toes in to the wonderful, whimsical world of automata (kinetic sculpture) with this one-day workshop introducing one of the stalwarts of automaton mechanisms: the crank. Using recycled, repurposed and found materials, we will hand-make all the components to create a fantastic flying creature which flaps its wings at the turn of a handle. All materials included, no prior experience necessary.
