Autumn Balkan Session with Magic Violin & The Balkan Village Band!

Get ready for an afternoon of vibrant music and community spirit!

The Summer Balkan Jam, hosted by The Magic Violin and the Balkan Village Band, is happening on Sunday, July 27th, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Whether you're a seasoned player or looking to try something new, we'd love for you to bring your instrument (or your voice!) and join in. We'll kick things off with a mini-workshop where you can learn a new tune by ear – the notation is also available in Gundula's new book, Balkan Music from the Danube. Then, we'll launch into a lively jam session, followed by a relaxed picnic in the park!

Can't make it in person? No problem! We'll also be streaming live on YouTube.

This event is free for everyone, both in the park and online, though donations for the musicians are greatly appreciated.
