Join ornithologist and Lit & Phil member Michael Turner on a guided bird around the Lower Derwent Valley. This rich landscape of woodland, meadows, riverside and historic monuments is home to a variety of birds including green woodpecker, kingfisher, dipper and of course the iconic red kite.The walk will be on regular footpaths with some slight gradients. Please bring binoculars if you have them and dress appropriately with stout footwear.
