About this event

🍂 Hampstead Autumn Book Walk

Join us for a cosy afternoon wandering through the charming streets of Hampstead – one of London’s most picturesque literary neighbourhoods – as we explore beloved bookshops, historic landmarks, and beautiful reading spots.

Our route includes:

📚 Hampstead Heath - Start your afternoon with fresh air and sweeping views of the city.

📚 Daunt Books, South End Road - A local favourite with a curated selection of titles.

📚 Keats House - Visit the former home of poet John Keats, where romance and verse fill the air.

📚 Keith Fawkes Bookshop, Flask Walk - A treasure trove of second-hand books and curiosities.

📚 Waterstones Hampstead - A bright, modern space to browse new reads.

📚 Oxfam Books Hampstead - A community favourite for affordable finds and literary gems.

📚 The Well Walk Theatre, Café & Bookshop - The perfect cosy spot to warm up with a drink and a browse.

🌿 The Hill Garden & Pergola - End our walk at this hidden gem, framed by autumn leaves aka the ideal place to read, chat, and take photos.

Whether you’re here to stock up on books, enjoy the autumn colours, or simply meet fellow book lovers, this walk promises a heartwarming afternoon of connection, conversation, and inspiration.

Organized by

Bookeddate is a cosy community that celebrates slow living, reflection, and connection through books. Founded by Ria in September 2023, our goal is to create a warm, safe space for readers worldwide. In April 2024, we launched Cosy London Book Club, bringing together book lovers in London and beyond.

Each month, we host a book club meeting and a social event, such as book swaps, summer parties, or autumn walks. Our meetings include speed book dating to connect with fellow members and a lively discussion of our book of the month. We explore a variety of genres, with a focus on non-Western authors, women, and people of colour.

We also partner with publishers like Penguin and HarperCollins for exclusive author events. Join our WhatsApp group to stay connected with the community, vote for books, and get updates on events.

Whether you’re in London or joining us online, we’d love for you to be part of the cosy experience!
