This guided walk will start at Parc Pale and pass through Pondhead Inclosure offering the opportunity to experience autumnal colours and nature in the New Forest while hearing about ways we can all help protect the special landscapes and environment of the National Park.

The session will follow an out-and-back route and last for approximately two and a half to three hours. Attendees should wear suitable robust footwear, dress for autumnal weather, and bring their own drinks. The trail will be suitable for pushchairs.

There are unfortunately no toilets in this area (the closest will be in Lyndhurst) and dogs are not allowed on this wildlife walk.

Duration/distance:

  • Approximately 3 hours / 3 miles.

Difficulty:

  • The walk will follow gravel tracks with stops along the way.
  • Suitable clothing and footwear will be needed.
