The Autumn Equinox marks a moment of balance—when day and night meet as equals.

It invites us to pause, reflect, and gently begin the turn inward as the seasons shift.

Celebrate the turning of the season with us as day and night meet in balance. This gentle, community-led event includes myth-sharing, seed saving, spiral drawing, bulb planting, and warming foraged tea.

We’ll honour the shift into autumn through creativity, connection, and reflection, marking this seasonal pause with intention and joy.

All ages welcome. Come as you are—slow down, gather in, and plant the seeds for the season ahead.

About this programme

This events take place in Together Culture's Garden of Eden 2.0 - a permaculture garden hidden in the heart of the Kite neighbourhood, where we're replanting the heritage of our neighbourhood. It's on the move, and currently located at 7 Eden Street Backway.

The people who settled our neighbourhood moved here from The Fens when they were drained and brought with them an attitude that people were a part of nature. You can learn more about it here.

This event is part of the Department of Care's nature-based wellbeing programme at Together Culture, designed in collaboration with and delivered by Earth & Mind.
