Join us for a deeply grounding afternoon of movement, rest, reflection and connection as we mark the Autumn Equinox – a time of balance, turning inward, and honouring the shift in season.
This day retreat offers space to reconnect with your breath, body and energy – and move into the final part of the year feeling more rooted, reflective, and restored.
Held in a peaceful studio on Richmond Hill, just a 10-minute walk from Richmond Station, with access to a cosy lounge and tranquil garden.
What’s Included:
Hatha Yoga – Gentle, steady movement to open the body and energise the breath. A grounding practice to support balance and presence as we shift into autumn. Suitable for all levels, including complete beginners.
Restorative Sound Bath – Settle into stillness with a supported restorative pose, using props for comfort and ease. You’ll be held in gentle sound vibrations from crystal bowls, chimes and grounding instruments designed to soothe the nervous system and support deep rest.
Spinal Energetics – A subtle yet powerful energy modality that works with the spine, nervous system and energetic field. This session supports emotional release, balance and realignment as the body softens and lets go. Sessions may involve light or no touch and can bring about spontaneous movements or emotional shifts. Guided Journaling Resources – Designed to support reflection and intention-setting as we move through the equinox, a natural point for pause and reset.
Snacks, Herbal Teas + Cake – Refreshments provided throughout the afternoon.

3.30-4:30pm – Restorative Sound Bath – with Alicia

5–6pm – Spinal Energetics – with Zeena
Reflections & Intergrations
Giving you time to ground after what can sometimes be an intense session of spinal energetics and share any questions or reflections with us, or simply sit in the relaxation room afterwards with a tea before you head off.

All sessions are included in your ticket and offered drop-in style – you're welcome to take part in everything or simply rest in the café or lounge.

Your Retreat Facilitators
Dr Zeena Kalisperides – Hatha Yoga & Spinal Energetics.Zeena is a former dental surgeon turned yoga teacher and energy practitioner. With over 20 years of personal practice, she brings a grounded, heart-led approach to everything she offers. Her teaching blends yoga, green living and mindfulness. Zeena is trained in Spinal Energetics (Level 1 & 2), a powerful modality that supports emotional and physical release by working with the spine, nervous system and energy field.
Alicia Chasteau – Restorative Yoga & Sound Bath.Founder of Ubuntu Spirit, Alicia is a dance and yoga teacher, who is currently finishing a diploma in Sound Therapy. She is passionate about sharing practices that support rest, healing and reconnection with self and community. With a background in social work and trauma-informed practice, she creates inclusive spaces where people feel safe to slow down and receive. Alicia’s sessions combine restorative yoga with sound using crystal bowls, chimes and percussion to soothe the nervous system and support deep rest.

- All mats and yoga props will be provided.
- We advise you to eat lunch before arrival as the venue does not serve meals, only snacks and drinks.
- Wear comfortable clothing. You may wish to bring an extra layer for the sound bath.
