About this event

Join us for an uplifting workshop to celebrate the Autumn Equinox through group singing, voice activation and co-created music, with Sasha from Starseed Offerings. Together, we’ll drop into the present moment and reconnect with our inner children through playful vocal warm-ups, improvisation and sound exploration.

This year brings fresh elements to support all voices, especially those who are a little shy! We’ll ease in with warm-ups and guided vocal exploration, enjoy new songs and rounds and close with a powerful soundscape ritual created especially for the Equinox.

Expect fun vocal games, genre play (rock, opera, folk, pop) and vocal characterisation, to build confidence and expression. We’ll also play with percussion and movement to deepen connection and bring the music to life in a full-body, joyful way.

Sasha is a sound healer, singer, workshop facilitator, event producer and founder of Starseed Offerings. Sasha recently returned from studying yoga, breathwork and soundhealing in India and has been implementing her trainings into all her Starseed offerings. She has also shared her music on the BBC and brings over 20 years of experience in the performing arts and wellbeing.

This is her second year with the Fun Fed and she is thrilled to return and share another creative, heart-led session with the community she deeply resonates with.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to have previous singing experience?

No, everyone is welcome!

Are there online options available?

We do offer the occasional online option but not for this workshop.

Can I bring a carer or personal assistant?

Yes, absolutely. Carers and personal assistants are welcome free of charge — just let us know in advance so we can reserve space.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Sadly, our venue is not wheelchair accessible, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We’re actively looking for more accessible venues for future events. If you have specific access needs, please feel free to contact us directly and we’ll do our best to support you.

Organised by

The Fun Fed is a London based playful events company who since 2005 has created opportunities for people to shake off the day.

We do that by running uplifting and unusual music, dance and games sessions every week that act as an antidote to the seriousness of everyday London life. Wholesome escapism is what we call it.

Old school playground games are The Fun Fed's trademark sessions. But stopping at Games would be boring right? So whether it’s Djembe Drumming, BellyBolly or perhaps Soul Singing, you’ll be sure to find some pretty inventive ways to be entertained and uplifted with us.

At The Fun Fed we pride ourselves on our network of friendly facilitators, ones who’ve mastered their crafts and love working with people.

We’ve worked with big venues such as the Southbank Centre on a young peoples’ rights festival and with small organisations such as St Paul’s Cancer on staff wellbeing sessions. You can find us on Radio 4 talking about the positive impact of our work and also at International festivals like Counterplay running interactive Play & Authenticity sessions. In a way you could say we’re serious about play.

The Fun Fed believes that through playfulness and discovery we can lead happier, more fulfilling lives. So come join us, and get some wholesome escapism.
