Autumn Forest Bathing
Overview
What is Forest Bathing?
Forest Bathing is a Japanese practice known as ‘Shinrin-yoku’. It is a simple method of being calm and quiet amongst the trees, being mindful of the nature surrounding you.
What is involved in a Forest Bathing Walk?
Your Forest Bathing guide, Jade, will invite you as part of a small group on a journey through the forest to awaken your senses. The walk will be at a slow and gentle pace. The session will begin with a short introduction and flow into a guided mediation through the woodland area of the Hermitage. The session will continue with a series of guided invitations, the aim is to emerge feeling refreshed and connected to the natural world around you.
What to Expect:
- Mindfulness: Slow down and fully absorb the peaceful woodland atmosphere.

- Sensory Engagement: Awaken your senses to the subtle details of nature around you.

- Relaxation: Relax with deep breaths and be present in the moment, letting nature wash over you.

- Seasonal Connection: Embrace the changes that summer brings and connect with the rhythms of the season.

This experience invites you to step away from daily distractions and emerge refreshed, rejuvenated, and in tune with the natural world. Join like-minded individuals for a peaceful and health-boosting journey through the forest.
What to Wear: Please dress appropriately for outdoor walking in the forest, with comfortable footwear. No swimming costumes required!
