A NEW event - held by Orietta Soul Muse!

A mini daytime social & retreat is launched to thank all beautiful Soul Sisters and followers who have created this community with us over a number of years.

We also welcome NEWCOMER Soul Sisters who wish to connect with likeminded Women that value: Sisterhood, nature, holistic practice, self development, seasonal rituals, wholesome food, Women's circle, Women's wisdom teachings and more!

OUR AGENDA:

Connect: The cosy & historical Wizard Tearoom will be our safe haven for a magical & witchy experience by the log fire. There will be time to connect over free herbal teas provided, to share and make new freinds.

Explore: Our Seasonal theme includes nature based Oracle cards. You can to explore and reflect on the correlation between the nature outside us and the inner nature of our Womanly 'seasons & cycles'. It's an opportunity to see the many hidden lessons Mother Nature teaches us to enrich our experiences and inspire us during the season of 'transformation' and 'letting go'.

Indulge: PACKED LUNCH - It will be a 'bring your own packed lunch' theme (ideally in a cooler bag as the room has no fridge and the outdoor Wizard Cafe will be unable to serve 20 customers arriving at once). Though cakes, energy balls, coffee, hot choc/drinks can be bought if desired from the outdoor cafe. N.B: Herbal teas, coffee, tea will be free within our room courtesy of Orietta. We hope to organise some homemade baking for people to share a treat - this is tbc.

Create: We will set our intentions for the season by creating & an Andean 'Despatcho' prayer bundle on our group tables. This ancient and beautiful ritual honours the nature outside us, and the hopes and wishes within us. It is a meditative act, fostering an attitude of gratitude to the abundance of love around us. It can be a way to honour ones who have passed, or the Autumn season, taking us into the darker months. All items needed to go into the bundle will be provided, however if you wish to bring any small biodegradabe items e.g. leaf, petals with a meaning to you, you can. It's a creative, meditative and Earth Honoring way to offer our prayes to the Earth & ourselves - perfect for our theme!

Nature Bathe: This activity is very Weather & time permitting. All being well & on time, we will have a short changeover (our room has toilets) before heading out onto the Wizard Walk. This will be an opportunity to GROUND & SEE the lessons from the Oracle cards and Mother Nature around us. We will 'bathe' in the senses, sounds, smells, sights, to see how our intuition may share something along the way, whilst being very 'present' in the moment. The walk is relatively easy and flat, it will take us to impressive viewing points and magical spots that inspire a sense of wonder. We will be as mindful as possible, with a few 'chatting stops' before continuing. The Walk should be an hour to 90 mins max. We will close our Circle outdoors, maybe a song for those who wish to join in, before saying goodbyes and heading to hearth and home.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE ARRIVAL:

PAY FOR PARKING - The National Trust is open 8am-8pm. Car parking is free to National trust members. Charges apply to non members: £5 for up to 4 hours, £8 all day. Although many NT sites use a moble app called 'Just park' for its car parks, the website currently says Alderly Edge is a pay & display car park. So check out 'paybyphone.co.uk' before setting off - to be sure it is still this way to pay, either with coins or via the app.

FACILITIES - Toilets in the outdoor car park & inside our private Wizard room

WHAT TO BRING:

A packed lunch for yourself in a cooler bag + water bottle for walking. Flask of drink if wish, however free self service teas and coffee will be available on arrival.

A purse/card if wish to buy additional snacks from the outdoor cafe (the wizard room we will use is used for workshops only, we are using it as a private hire. The actual 'cafe' where you purchase drinks/snacks is situated outdoors at the back with little wooden cabins/tables, it accepts cards).

Walking shoes, waterproof jacket/trousers, warm suitable comfortable clothing/layers/socks. (There is a loo for quick changing if you wish before/after the walk).

A cusion or blanket, slippers? (to keep cosy indoors)

Pen & notebook (optional if you wish to journal ideas)

OPTIONAL - Some of you may run your own business/therapies. You may bring your biz card if you wish to share it during breaks or at the start (ensure it feels relevant and welcome to others). Our session isn't business networking, but if it feels in context to a conversation do support 'sisters helping sisters'.

There may be opportunities for a group photo (for those who consent and are happy for it to be celebrated on social media) decide on the day, bring a smile!

The session is a few weeks before Samhain/Halloween, if anyoyone is feeling 'witchy' bring your hat by all means if that floats your boat!

No dogs - so you can relax.

DIETARY - please inform if you have any allergies/dietary, as we may some ladies offering home cake to share and can 'try' to accomodate.
