Running every Tuesday in November, B&H’s cocktail connoisseurs will host informal, interactive cocktail masterclass. Focusing on innovative and interesting spirits, tickets are priced at £20 and include a spirit flight, several tasters and two full cocktails. Each class will have a different theme, including:

Tuesday 5th November: BONFIRE NIGHT SPECIAL: HOT COCKTAILS

Join us for a Bonfire Night special class where we work with fiery whiskies, brandies and tequilas to ‘pimp’ our hot cocktails. We’ll make mulled wine and cider, hot toddies and hot chocolate, but all with a twist. Ideal for mixing up and keeping in your coffee flask!

Tuesday 12th November: DRINK WHAT YOU SOW

B&H welcome's Londoners with green thumbs and discerning tongues to a very special seasonal workshop for cocktail and foraging enthusiasts.Drink What You Sow – Foraging Special will use ingredients raided from nature’s larder to make delicious, sophisticated cocktails. From edible plants and flowers to nuts and berries, this masterclass offers London’s hunters and gatherers a chance to experiment with different flavours and techniques, and create one-off cocktails from foraged fodder.

A range of seasonal herbs and berries, grown at B&H Garden Room will be selected, with the B&H bar experts demonstrating how to use these ingredients in your drinks. For the final part of the workshop, guests will be encouraged to get stuck in and mix their own concoctions. Everyone will be supplied with a tray of ingredients with which to mix, stir and shake their way to the perfect home-grown cocktail.

Tuesday 19th November: WINTER CORDIALS AND PARTY PUNCHES

On most London bar cocktail menus, discerning drinkers will notice a plethora of homemade cordials and shrubs listed amongst the drink ingredients. In this workshop, we teach you how to make these using leftover wines and household ingredients with every participant taking home their own bottle of B&H’s winter spiced cordial.

In the later part of the workshop, we look at using our cordials and shrubs to make a delicious party punch, perfect for festive entertaining.

Tuesday 26th November: RAIDING THE LIQUOR CABINET

Ever wondered what to do with that dusty old bottle of sherry at the back of your kitchen cupboard? Brought port for a gravy recipe but never again opened it? This workshop looks at old, forgotten spirits and liqueurs that tend to lie for years unopened, examining their flavour profiles and teaching you how to mix up delightful festive cocktails for the season.
