Are you a registered childminder in Herefordshire? Led by the Safeguarding Education Lead for Herefordshire, this two-part training course will provide a comprehensive overview of:
✅ Statutory safeguarding duties for childminders
✅ Local authority policies, procedures, and referral pathways
✅ Understanding thresholds and identifying concerns early
✅ Responding to disclosures and recording effectively
✅ Working with partner agencies, including Early Help and MASH
This event encompasses both a safeguarding update and the required information to perform the deisgnated safeguarding lead role( DSL) for childminders.
🕒 Sessions will take place within the same week to ensure continuity and depth of learning.
📅 Attendance at both sessions is required to complete the training
Session one - Tuesday 7th October 2025 - 6:30pm-8:30pm
Session two - Thursday 9th October 2025 - 6:30pm-8:30pm
Please note - after booking, non-attendance will incur a charge of £50.
