Reset and Recharge on a Luxurious Day Retreat

Join us for a day of relaxation, rejuvenation, and connection led by experienced yoga teachers Gina and Marina. This event offers a harmonious blend of flowing yoga, mindful practices, and restorative time to leave you feeling refreshed, balanced, and revitalised.


Take Some Well Deserved Time For Yourself

The retreat day starts with a warm welcome and tea, followed by a journalling workshop. We'll begin with a yoga flow and some somatic monements to energise the body. You'll then enjoy the calming Autumn air, as you relax in the cosy warmth of the sauna, hot tub, and cool pools, before enjoying a wholesome vegetarian lunch. In the afternoon, you'll practice self-care with a restorative yoga session, followed by a guided relaxation. By the end of the day, you'll leave feeling nourished, refreshed, and revitalised, having taken much-needed time for yourself to reset both body and mind.


Gina

Gina is a dedicated and skilled Hatha Vinyasa yoga teacher. She trained at the prestigious Sanctuary at Two Rivers in the lush rainforest of Costa Rica, as well as at the seafront Vikasa Academy in Thailand and brings a wealth of knowledge and an authentic passion for yoga to every class.

Gina's personal journey into yoga began as a quest to find relaxation and balance in a fast-paced, busy world. Yoga became her own sanctuary, a place where she discovered inner peace and a profound sense of well-being. It's this transformative experience that fuels Gina's desire to help others in the same way.

In Gina's classes, you'll experience vinyasa yoga, a balanced blend of alignment, strength, and flow, emphasising the importance of the breath-movement connection.

Marina

From a young age, Marina’s father sparked a love for diverse sports, creating a pathway to joy, creativity, and self-discovery. As time progressed, her passion for physical activity seamlessly integrated into her daily routine. Intrigued by the evolution and health of the human body, this passion steered Marina towards a career in nursing.

Navigating the realm of nursing exposed her to countless patient interactions, nurturing a deep well of compassion to guide them through their pain and struggles, both in body and mind. Marina’s current aspiration transcends the traditional role of a nurse. Today, she has a mission to extend her service through preventive medicine, helping individuals forge a profound connection with their bodies through practices like yoga and massage.

Marina emphasises the importance in the connection between mind, body and soul and the importance of taking care of it.

In Marina’s classes, you will experience a mindful practice designed to release tension and connect with your body. You’ll explore gentle movements and passive postures, allowing for deep tissue relaxation. Using the breath as a guide to enhance body awareness and promote calm, the practice helps quiet the mind and restore the body.
