About this event

Travel & Outdoor • Hiking

At this time of year of year there can be good numbers of Shoveler, Gadwall, Wigeon and Pintail along with some of the Autumn migrants and the chance of seeing a Short-eared Owl, Peregrine Falcon or Marsh Harrier hunting over the marshes.

The event is free but a voluntary donation of £2 per person is suggested.

All welcome, whatever your level of birdwatching knowledge. Bring your own lunch, drinks and suitable clothing and footwear for the weather, especially if it has been raining in previous days. Hot drinks and food will also be available from the RSPB Café on our return.

We will be meeting outside the visitor centre where they may be a charge for non-RSPB members to walk the trails from there.
