We will take a gentle walk looking at autumn plants and flowers in in the local hedgerows, woods and field-edges. The walk is ideal for families with children, and for anyone who enjoys a gentle stroll in the countryside. The walk will be led by Karen van Oostrum, a Prestwood Nature Council member and an experienced botanist and educator who shares her passion for and knowledge of plants in an infectious way that appeals to adults and children. The walk is free for Prestwood Nature members; non-members make a minimum £2 donation which allows Prestwood Nature to do more work for nature.

The walk will start at Boug's Meadow which is looked after by Prestwood Nature volunteers and is located next to the Link Road Car Park in Great Missenden (what3 words location: ordinary.fluffed.exonerate)

This walk is organised by Prestwood Nature, a charity that aims to engage local people in the protection and improvement of local nature, through events and natural sites we manage. Our membership fee is £10 per year, supports our work and gives free access to Prestwood Nature events. For more information see prestwoodnature.org.
