The Three Fishes restaurant is linking up with Child Action Northwest (CANW) to host a gala dinner in aid of some of the Ribble Valley’s most vulnerable people.
The popular Northcote Leisure Group restaurant, based at Mitton, will stage the event on Wednesday 12th October as part of their ongoing support for CANW, their chosen charity for 2016.
Guests at the exclusive event can look forward to a three course autumnal menu celebrating the very best Lancashire produce, a silent auction featuring some very special items and offers from CANW and Northcote Leisure Group and a quiz with prizes to be won.
Diners will also be treated to live acoustic music from during the meal.
All proceeds raised from the event will go towards Raised in the Ribble Valley, an initiative which provides free specialist therapeutic counselling for people who have experienced emotional trauma.
The scheme, part of CANW’s Emotional Health counselling service, helps children, young people and adults with a wide range of issues including loss and bereavement, domestic abuse, anger management issues and addictions and is supported by fundraising activities, events and voluntary donations.
Martin Hurn, General Manager of The Three Fishes said: “The gala dinner is a fantastic opportunity for lovers of fine food to taste the very best we have to offer and experience an evening of music and entertainment, all in aid of a really deserving cause.
“It’s the chance for people in the Ribble Valley to show their support for people in crisis in their local community and to find out more about great work CANW does to help them.”
Martin Hartley-Smith, Business and Marketing Director at CANW added: “The Three Fishes has a great reputation for celebrating local food producers, so we’re really pleased they’ve agreed to host our gala dinner and extend their support to those in need in the Ribble Valley area.
“The event should be a real treat for anyone who’s passionate about food and about their community.”
The dinner is the second of three events to be held by The Three Fishes as part of their partnership with CANW. The restaurant will also put on a gin and whisky tasting evening in support of the charity on Thursday 17th November.
Tickets to the gala dinner at 7.00pm on Wednesday 12th October are available at the price of £30 per person. The Three Fishes will accommodate special dietary requirements by arrangement.
