Avoid being a Victim of Cybercrime with Black Country FSB 8 Feb 2017
Wed 8 February 2017, 18:30 – 20:30 GMT
Black Country Branch Event:
Top 10 Tips to Avoid your Business being a Victim of Cybercrime.
Our February meeting will host a speaker from the Cyber Crime unit of West Midlands Police who will outline their ‘Top Ten Tips’ on avoiding your business becoming a victim of Cyber Crime!
The presentation is very engaging and will outline exactly what Cyber Crime is and the most common types of every day dangers we face, both personally and in our business. They will share some fairly scary statistics on the number of reported Cyber Crime incidences and the most common threats.
They will also help us to understand how vulnerable our business is to an ‘insider threat’ as well as external threats from people/organisations we trust.
Advice will be given on quick and efficient methods you can take away with you and use straight away to ensure your business is as safe as you can possibly make it. In a World where many of the threats to our business are invisible, this is a not to be missed session!
