Nothing in this world is more sacred or more potent than this Knowledge of the Self – it is the key to happiness, success, and prosperity.

In the fourth chapter of the Bhavagad-Geeta, the nature of the Avatar is revealed. It dwells on the technique of self-perfection, on the nature of the action, as well as inaction, and establishes the supremacy of Knowledge. It concludes with Shri Krishna stating the necessary qualities for acquiring this Knowledge of the Self and urging us to ‘Arise, O Bharata!’, and Awaken the Avatar in each one of us, in order to achieve our true potential.

During this 6-evening gyana yagna (lecture series), Swami Swaroopananda, in his unique style of integrating devotion and deep knowledge of the Upanishads and Geeta, will guide us through this important chapter of the Holy Geeta with his eloquence and charming, yet humble demeanor.

A disciple of Swami Chinmayananda, Pujya Swami Swaroopananda brings the timeless wisdom of Vedanta to the modern world. Swamiji is the Global Head of Chinmaya Mission and is also the Director of the prestigious Chinmaya International Residential School in Coimbatore, India.
