About this event
A four-day immersive nature-based programme in the wild heart of Sussex. This is a deep experiential journey into the unseen, animate world that surrounds and includes us. Through practices rooted in ancient knowing and contemporary nature-based approaches, you’ll be invited to open your senses, soften your everyday awareness, and enter into collaboration with the Soul of the World.
Limited places available, 8 people only.

Is this experiential program right for you?
Yes, if you’re:
- Longing to feel more deeply connected to yourself, the Earth, and something greater.
- Curious about deep nature connection or the unseen world.
- Open to exploring imagination, creativity, and movement without needing to be ‘good at’ them.
- Ready to listen to the land, others, and your inner self in new ways.
You don’t need prior experience in movement, art, voice, or nature-based practices—just a willingness to explore. All practices are guided with care and always optional. You’ll be warmly held in a supportive group, with space for solo time too.
Core Practices Include:
- Deep Imagination Journeys – Guided inner journeys that access symbolic, archetypal wisdom
- Solo Wanders in Wild Land – Time to meet the more-than-human world (our Sussex woodland site!)
- Council Circles – Speaking and listening from the heart
- Shape Shifting –Shifting our state of consciousness to experience the world through another being’s perspective
- Cross-species Communication – Relating to animals, plants, and elements as sentient kin
- Creative Expression & Art – Using art materials, voice and movement as portals to the unseen
What is Eco-Awakening?
Eco-awakening is the experience of coming alive to the intelligence and aliveness of nature itself—realising we are not separate from the Earth, but in intimate relationship with it. You may experience your deep belonging to the wider ecology and discover something about how you’re here to live as a participant in that.
The Soul of the World, or Anima Mundi, refers to the inherent spirit or consciousness within all things. Awakening to it means remembering that everything is animate, meaningful, and interwoven.
What is Soul? Soul can be described as the aspect of ourselves and all animate life that is the ‘ecological niche’. The unique shape or pattern that has always existed that only we as individuals can fit into and find expression through. The way in which we express ourselves is our unique gift to the world and how we co-create it. We can say that the ‘soul of the world’ is the way each animate being expresses themself through the relationship with everything else.
What you will take away from your experiential program?
- A deeper sense of connection with the natural world and your inner landscape.
- Practices to continue listening, imagining, and collaborating with the Earth.
- A felt understanding of the ‘soul’ as your unique ecological niche and gift.
- Clarity, nourishment, and resourcing for your life and work.

Testimonials from Rebecca’s Previous Programmes
My quest was an awakening experience, simple as that. It was transformational. It was exactly what I needed, and Rebecca was a huge part of that. She is a truly authentic wilderness guide. Rebecca facilitated the entire process in a strong yet gentle way, helping shape our experience with subtlety, sensitivity, depth, balance, good humour, potency and a sure belief in the process which helped me to surrender to it. Her support and guidance before, during and after the quest was potent, measured, generous and profound. I prescribe a vision quest to all those searching for deeper meaning in their lives, and I recommend Rebecca to be your guide. I could not imagine being in safer hands.
