About this event

Join Chris each Monday evening 6-7pm at Ardour Academy for a unique one hour workshop designed to help you build deeper awareness and connection with your emotions, your intuition, your-Self.

This series rotates through four different practices every month, offering a varied and holistic approach to mindfulness and personal growth, based in acceptance and curiosity:

Week 1: Breathwork – Experience guided breathwork to enter deep meditative states and open awareness to your body, emotions, and insights.

Week 2: Manifestation Meditation – Cultivate clarity and focus around your true desires using quantum meditation and manifestation techniques.

Week 3: Mindfulness Practice – Learn practical mindfulness tools to integrate greater awareness into your daily life.

Week 4: Reflect & Connect – share, listen and reflect with others in a confidential, facilitated setting, to share your journeys in a supportive space.

Participants may experience profound relaxation, increased presence, deep insights, inner discovery, and a sense of limitless possibilities.

Each session is suitable for all levels, whether you are new to these practices or looking to deepen your existing practice.

The workshops are donation-based, creating an inclusive and supportive space to grow your awareness and connect with a like-minded community.

Please arrive from 5.45pm for a 6pm prompt start!

Each workshop will include:

  1. Creating and documenting your specific desires and intentions
  2. Explanation of the medtiation
  3. Meditation: 20-25 minutes, half of which is guided and there is background music throughout
  4. Sharing space at end

Frequently asked questions

Do I need prior experience to attend?

All are welcome, whether you are new to these practices or familiar with them. There are no strenuous exercises and all practices can be adjusted to suit your own ability level. If you have any concerns please let me know!

How do I get to Ardour Academy?

Ardour Academy is just off Albany Road in Cardiff & accessible via private and public transport. There are around 18 external steps to get up to the venue. If you have any queries or requirements please get in touch and let me know what works for you!

Why are there different workshops each week every month?

The rotating set of workshops are designed to be complementary and offer different ways of developing self-awareness, connection and communication. You are welcome to try and see what works best for you, and to attend all of just certain workshops.

Can you tell me more about the venue & services available?

Ardour Academy is a non-profit community-focussed wellbeing hub in Cardiff. The venue is all on one floor, offers drinking water, toilet facilities, and is heated / cooled as necessary. Chairs are available & can be used for all workshops. Any queries or requirements please let me know!

What do I need to bring?

Although the space is heated, sometimes during breathwork and meditations, you may experience cold sensations, so a blanket can be useful. You are welcome to bring your own notebook and pen, although pen and paper will also be provided.

What clothing is best?

We aren't doing any strenuous exercises or movements in any of the workshops, so just something that is comfortable to sit in, whether you prefer to sit on the floor (yoga blocks are available) or on a chair.
