About this event

Do you work with children under 5 years where you have noticed that they have or may have special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND)?

Those who see children as part of their work within the NHS system or other early years services must inform parents if they consider their child has or may have SEND. You must also inform the Local Authority (LA). This it to ensure that they are aware of the child’s needs and can make necessary adjustments to include them in their everyday education. This is often referred to as the Early Identification and Notification (EIN) sharing information.

To find out more about what this is, what you should do and how you can share this important information we are putting on this awareness briefing session which will be aimed at professionals who see pre-school age children and their families across all agencies.
